He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover William Scearce and Ellen Gertrude Scott Scearce; and his brothers, Grover Eugene "Gene" Scearce and Dr. W. Keith Scearce. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynskey Scearce; his brother Cleveland "Club" Scearce (Gerry); and his pet Sweet Pea. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
