We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Rebecca Heffinger Squires of Danville, Virginia, born in Rockingham, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thomas Heffinger and Hattie Sue Cook Heffinger; her husband James W. "Buddy" Squires; her children, Donna Wray and Albert Wray; and her siblings, Juanita Mullins, Timothy, Thomas Heffinger and Jack Cook.
She is survived by: her son Kenny Wray (Amy); her stepdaughters, Joan Bryant (Mike) and LeeAnn Lechler (Carl); her daughter-in-law Susan Wray; and her siblings, Patricia Reynolds, Judi Talbert, Jane Thurman, Margie Rogue, Shirley Surgnier and Billy Heffinger. She is also survived by three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Vandola Baptist Church Piano Fund.
