Reuben Williams Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reuben Williams (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Williams and Fosco Williams; his former wife Helen Williams; his siblings, Gladys Smith, Christine Wheeler, Bethel Wright, Katherine McKinney and Elmo Williams; and his stepdaughter Sylvia South.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Williams; his daughter Teresa Hedrick (Kenny); his stepson Garnett Johnson (Joyce); his sister Frances "Elaine" Martin; and his grandchildren, Melissa Ketchum, CJ Hedrick (Charmine), Kelly South, Peyton South, Jeff Johnson and Sherrie Jones (Mark). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations in Reuben's name may be made to the Blairs Volunteer Fire Department.
