It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Harris (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clyde "Jiggs" Harris and Mary Alice Soyars Harris; and his brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Harris. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Franks Harris; his sons, Jason Harris (Andrea) and John Harris (Sheri); his brothers, Daryl Harris (Susan) and Mark Harris (Diane); his grandfathers, Landyn Harris (Callie), Morgan H. Johnson (Evan), Ethan Harris and Jacob Harris; and his pet Rascal.
