We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2022, at the age of 79, Roy Eugene Campbell Sr. (Danville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lexie Campbell and Irene Lunsford Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Helen Massie Campbell; his sons, Roy Campbell, Jr. (Melinda) and Eric Scott Campbell (April); his grandchildren, Tyler Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Colby Campbell and Preston Campbell; his sister Margie Campbell (Vernon); and his brothers-in-law, J. B. Massie (Lisa) and Tony Massie.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew, 202 Christopher Lane, Danville, VA 24541.
