With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Lee Jones of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Taft Jones and Irene Lancaster Jones; and his former wife Shirley Thompson Jones. He is survived by: his wife Donna Oakes Jones; his daughter Rhonda Holley (Randy); his siblings, Cecil Jones (Vickie), Evelyn Worley, David Jones (Gail) and Janis Hodges (Wayne); and his pet Sweet Pea.
