She was predeceased by: her parents, Azzle Augusta Burke and Dola Gerrells Burke; her husband Robert Newell Jones; her daughter Deborah Sue Wilson; her grandson Jeremy Wilson; and her siblings, Ruth B. Jeffries and Bobby E. Burke.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Burke Jones (Joan) of Danville, VA, Dola Nell Burgess (David) of Ringgold, VA, Lisa Marie Jones Allen of Danville, VA and Kathy Ruth Jones of Reidsville, NC; and her siblings, Carl L. Burke (Marie) of Dry Fork, VA, D. Earl Burke (Barbara) of Axton, VA, Betty B. Haymore of Danville, VA and Judy B. Bobbitt of Danville, VA. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
