She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Giles and Richard Compton; and her children, Ricky Thompson (Skip) and Nancy Trent. She is survived by: her husband Charles Thompson Sr.; her son Charles Thompson Jr.; her grandchildren, Staci Ashworth, Scott Trent and Megan Thompson Floersch; her great grandchildren, Caulier Barker, Waylon Barker, Adah Floersch and Elliott Floersch; her sister Carolyn Compton McConnell; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Thompson.
