He was predeceased by: his parents, Nannie Louise Thomas Hudgins and Alex Russell Hudgins; his wife Doris Powell Hudgins; and his brother Joseph Walter Hudgins. He is survived by: his sister Sue Collie; his nieces, Bonnie Campbell (Bill) and Brenda Lynn Hudgins; his nephew Dallas Collie (Wyndy); and his caregiver Ann Jackson.
