It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Rebucke Newman of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morris and Reva Morris; and her children, Dwayne Wells and Nancy Shelton. She is survived by: her granddaughter Amber Vreeland (Matthew) of West End, NC; her great grandchild Avery Garrett (Thomas); and her sisters, Mae Greene Danville, Helen Motley (David) of Danville and Edith Gowin (Emmet) of New Town, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
