He was predeceased by: his wife Carrie Brown; and his children, Charles Gregory Brown, Simpson "Simmy" Brown and Karen Brown Ferrell. He is survived by: his children, Ann Garrett of Texas and Vincent Brown Sr. of Danville, Virginia; and his sister Edith Townsend of Knightdale. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, extended family.
