She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taft Harman and Juanita Harman; and her husband Albert Earle Garrett III. She is survived by: her sons, Albert Earle Garrett IV and Scott Freeman Garrett; her grandchildren, Katie Carter (Jason), Lance Gagnon and Matthew Gage Rials; her siblings, Eleanor Rhodes, Tam Starling, Jeannette Rhodes and Don Harman (Georganne); and her niece Tamara Harvey (Edwin).
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Burial Park (1432 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540).
