He is survived by: his sons, Damonte Haley of Altavista, VA and RaShawn Thompson of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Trenton Haley of Altavista, VA and Ava Haley of Lynchburg, VA; and his siblings, William Torain (Barbara) of Chatham, VA, Averett Thompson of Durham, NC, Brenda Myers of Charlotte, NC, Darlene Wimbush of Chatham, VA, Nannie Edwards of Chatham, VA, Annette Smith of Chatham, VA and Louvonia White of Chatham, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
