He is survived by: his wife Velma Hodges Turner; his daughter Bonnie Turner Murphy (Thomas Anthony Murphy, Jr.); his grandson Michael E. Turner of Greensboro, NC.; his brother Raymond Turner (Shirley) of Rustburg, VA; his grandchildren, Sydney Turner and Matthew Jason Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Mason James Murphy and Asher Thomas Murphy.
