It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Hunt Gibson (Danville, Virginia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge Thomas Hunt, Sr. and Zelma Dobyns Hunt; her husband Walter Gibson; and her brother Eldridge Thomas Hunt, Jr.. She is survived by: her friend Sandra H. Jones (Raymond); and her close friends, Garland and Lois Wells. She is also survived by stepchildren; step-grandchildren; one niece, and four nephews.
