He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jack Smith and Gladys Scribner Smith; and his siblings, Patricia Nickell and Theodore Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Woodall (Robbie); his grandchildren, Conner Woodall and Mallory Woodall; his sister Donna Smith; and his niece Paula Richardson (Keister). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Danville Life Saving Crew.
