We are sad to announce that, on June 6, 2022, at the age of 90, Thomas Henry Hatchett Sr. (Danville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Bruce Hatchett; his wife Margaret Brooks Hatchett; his brothers, George "Mike" Hatchett, Jr. and Owen Waynick "Winky" Hatchett; his siblings-in-law, Ruby B. Foster, Minnie Hatchett, Alvin Reese Brooks and William Brooks; and his son-in-law Billy Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas H. Hatchett, Jr. of Blairs, VA, Patty F. Farthing (Larry) of Blairs, VA, Linda McGuire of Yanceyville, NC and Vicky Hatchett of Blairs, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley B. Wallace (Kenny) of Danville, VA and Virginia Brooks of Chatham, VA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
