He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Wayne Burnette and Gloria Gunnell Burnette. He is survived by: his children, Katelyn Rae Burnette and Scott Burnette (Kristy); his brother Dempsey Burnette (Gayle); and his grandchildren, Cohen, Denver and Brady.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations be made to Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association.
