He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick "Fred" Morris Robertson and Sharon Whitt Robertson of Danville; his grandparents, Fredrick Eldridge Robertson, Mildred Smith Robertson of Collinsville and Virginia; Claiborne Keister Whitt, Jr. of Danville.

He is survived by: his sister Rebecca Robertson of Salisbury; his uncle Donald; his aunt Ginny Robertson of Stoneville; his grandmother Maxine Whitt of Danville; and his half-brother Brent Baker of Ringgold, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Harm Reduction Coalition in Tommy's memory.
