Though Uley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Uley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Beard, Sr. and Elsie Ferrell Beard; his son Maurice Beard; and his siblings, Carol Harden, Roger Beard and Raleigh Beard, II.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanara Beard of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Marrio Williams of Charlotte, NC and Morgan Reid of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Elsie Mae Beard of Danville, VA, Sandra Williams (Wilbert) of Greenville, NC, Nancy Dadd (Nelo) of Jonesboro, GA and Maynard Beard (Loretta) of Danville, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
