He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Van Buren Widdifield and Kathleen Megginson Widdifield; and his brother Everett Michael Widdifield. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hawker Widdifield; his sons, Van "VJ" Martin Widdifield, Jr. and David Casey Widdifield; his grandchildren, Kamerin, Chelsea, Ashley and Savannah Widdifield; his sisters, Donna Davis (Jimmie) and Kitty Francis (Dennis); and his close friend Timber.
