She was predeceased by: her father Edward Buckner; and her sons, Timothy Montgomery and Matthew Lee Montgomery. She is survived by: her husband James W. Montgomery, Jr.; her daughters, Mary Sue Montgomery Gibson (Mark) and Sara Lynn Montgomery Stickland (Earl James); her sister Terri Clark (Steve); and her grandchildren, Megan Fouts (Donald), Mary Beth Strickland (Nick), Hallie Betterton (late Frankie Betterton), Jessi Burnette and Nathlee Strickland IV (Madison). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
