She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Stanley Haynes and Claude Wesley Haynes. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Adkins; her sons, Donald Wayne Oakes (Ruth) of Sutherlin, VA and David Wesley Oakes (Brenda Sutphin) of Christiansburg, VA; her brother Allen Haynes of Sutherlin, VA; and her grandchildren, Heather (Kirby), Shayna, Adam, Anthony and Tonya. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Kerns Memorial United Methodist Church, 3860 Kerns Church Road, Sutherlin, VA 24594.
