She is survived by: her son Hugh G. Dodson II (Vicky Clayton) of Danville, VA; her brothers, Bobby Rigney (Shirley) and Billy Rigney; and her brothers-in-law, Dennis Hopkins and Reverend Hoyt Stone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
