She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hammock and Lessie Adkins Hammock; her husband George Edd Shelton; her daughter Betty Shelton; and her granddaughter Leslie Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Edward Shelton (Pam) of Dry Fork, VA, Cindy Simpson (Calvin) of Danville, VA and Barbara Crabb (Steve) of Danville, VA; and her siblings, Geneva Shelton of Dry Fork, VA, Mary Rigney of Dry Fork, VA, Shelby Shelton of Danville, VA and Ray Hammock of Keeling, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
