She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Moore and Mary Yeatts; her husband Charlie Walker; and her siblings, Jessie and Shirley Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Stewart (Bobby) of Pelham, NC, Gregory Adkins (Carol) of Danville, VA and Christopher Adkins of Danville, VA; her sister Juanita "Nita" Dove of Reidsville, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Kerr (Troy), Evan Stewart (Jordan), Bryan Adkins (Victoria) and Hannah Adkins; her great grandchildren, Maddison Wiggins (Drayton), River Lilly Adkins, AvaLily Kerr, Parker Stewart and Emilia Stewart; and her friend Stokeland Baptist Church. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Chapel of Swicegood-Barker Funeral Home (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541).
