With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter McDaniel (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on February 15, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter McDaniel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac McDaniel of Washington and Alice King McDaniel; his former wife Ella Mae Sigmon McDaniel; and his son Walter Ray McDaniel, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hale McDaniel; his daughters, Teressa M. Owens (Robert) and Kathryn M. Flowe (George); his stepchildren, Dana Parker (Jay) and Glen Edwards (Angie); and his siblings, Nora Jean Odum (Tommy) and William McDaniel (Linda). He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Central Blvd. Church of God, 235 Hairston St., Danville, VA 24540.
