She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Louise Martin and James Evyne Martin; her brothers, Jerry and Larry Martin; and her sister-in-law Linda.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Lee Keen; her son Chris Bates of Blairs, VA; her stepdaughter Amy Lawson (David); her siblings, Roger Martin (Linda), Danny Martin (Pam), Carolyn Cooper (Paul) and Vickie Bowen (Stanley); and her stepgrandchildren, Destiny and Piper Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
