He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezzie Oscar Adkins and Gladys Gibson Adkins; his wife Bertha Lewis Adkins; and his brother Jimmy Adkins. He is survived by: his sons, Buddy Adkins (Becky) and Lee Adkins (Penny); and his siblings, Kathy A. Oliver (Skeeter), Lynn Adkins (Joyce) of Ringgold, VA and Ricky Adkins of Ringgold, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren & three great grandchildren.
