He is survived by: his wife Jean Dickerson Wallace; his son Michael Wayne Wallace (Amy); his siblings, Carolyn Van Hoy, Paula Tanner and Bobby Wallace (Brenda); his granddaughters, Kasey Wallace, Abby Wallace and Emily Mayhew (Gauge); and his great grandchildren, Benson Michael Fraser and Kameron Wayne Harvey.

Even when stricken by Parkinson's disease five years ago, he remained strong, never letting his illness stop him.
