He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Tate and Waverly Edward Wilkerson; his daughter Robin Hite (Doug); his brother Dennis Wilkerson; and his close friend Gracie.

He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Wilkerson (Courtney), Brandon Wilkerson (Selina), Sherry London (Mark), Lori Jones (Gil) and Brenna Brewer (Christian); his grandchildren, Ryan London, Trace, Liam Jones, Carter Wilkerson, Olivia London and Baylee Wilkerson; and his siblings, Carroll Wilkerson (Sue) and Violet Barker (Wesley). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
