She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Patterson Scearce and Wilbert Scearce; and her daughter Katie Flinchum. She is survived by: her husband Wesley Douglas Flinchum; her sons, Bradley Flinchum (Stephanie) of Virgilina, VA and Michael Ray Dodd (Melanie) of Dry Fork, VA; her siblings, Buster Scearce, Tom Scearce (Rhonda), Susan Meadows and Wanda Ingram (Randy); her grandchildren, Madison Dodd and Mason Dodd; and her pets, Goose and Tails. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Tunstall Fire and Rescue, 740 Tunstall High Road, Dry Fork, VA 24549.
