We announce the death of William McMann Jr. (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 84. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Jennings McMann and Hallie McMann; and his former wife Jeanne A. McMann. He is survived by: his wife Janice McMann; his sons, William Edward Jennings McMann III (Jennifer), Walter Kenneth McMann and Grover Rodgers (Annette); his sister Barbara McMann; his grandchildren, William McMann, Cameron Rodgers and Brandon Rodgers (MaKenzie); and his nieces, Whitney Daane and Olivia Daane.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Authoracare Burlington Campus – 914 Chapel Hill Rd Burlington, NC 27215 in his memory.
