It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilson Junior Scott of Danville, Virginia, born in Ferrum, Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus "Lum" Scott and Elizabeth Arbet Griffith Scott; his siblings, Claude, Guy, Charlie Scott, Lillian Davis, Mary Hall, Odette Green, Christine Law and Jearline Lynch; and his son James Michael Scott.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Pruitt Scott; his daughter Gina S. Craig (Tom); and his extended family, Mary Anne Dalton (Tim), Anna Dun (Ben), Emily Dalton and Carol Milam.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Tunstall Fire & Rescue or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
