We bid farewell to Yvonne Hazelwood Rigney (Danville, Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Yvonne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hester Vaden and Lottie Green Davis Vaden; her children, Connie Hazelwood and Henry Wilton Hazelwood; and her husband Thomas Rigney.

She is survived by : her daughter Debbie Hazelwood Tuggle (Wayne) of High Point, NC; her grandson Hank Hazelwood, Jr. (Vicky) of Callands, VA; her child Thomas; her stepdaughters, Robin Schultz (Craig) and Donna Ingram (David); and her grandchildren, Brannan Smithwick, Micheal Hazelwood, Kim Hazelwood, Karen Ingram, Stephanie Hall, Chris Newton, Kaitlyn Ingram and Kristen Shelton (Jim).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Home (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
