He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frank and Marie Black (Swartz); and his siblings, Shirley Dameron (Donnie) and Don Black (Luella "Whiz"). He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean Black (Gordon); his daughter Bessie Black (Curt Ward); and his siblings, Carolyn Shirkey (Terry), Eddie Black (Nellie), Bob Black (Patty), Jerry Black (Carolyn) and Jim Wood (Kerry).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clover Hill Fire & Rescue.
