With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry D. Anderson (Dayton, Virginia), who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Foster Anderson; his daughters, Kim Satterwhite, Shellie Gum (Greg) and Tanya Laffler (Vince); his grandchildren, Karen Roudabush (Ben), Will Satterwhite (Julie), Andy Satterwhite (Jazmine), Victoria Gum, Caleb Reynolds-Gum (Alana), Ivan Laffler, Joe Satterwhite (Kayla), Lily Laffler, Loren Ramos (Nalen) and Sam Satterwhite; and his close friends, Richard and Norman Showalter. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Briery Branch Church of the Brethren Shelter Fund, 6628 Briery Branch Rd., Dayton, VA 22821.
