He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Reese and Mary Reese (Crider); his siblings, David Reese, Addie Mongold, Cathryn Little and Luella "Whiz" Black; his grandchildren, Crystal Eavers and Tristin Reese; and his son-in-law Gary Eavers.
He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Bonnie Reese (Sievers); his children, James Junior Reese (Lori) of Dayton, Kathy Eavers of Dayton and Flint Reese (Amy) of Dayton; and his brothers, William "Steamboat" Reese of Dayton and Mervin "Gene" Reese. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
