He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nelson, Sr. Layman and Doris Layman (Coleman); his wife Christine Layman (Hughes); his children, Angela Testerman (Bill) and Matthew Layman (Jennifer); his brothers, Nelson "Phil" Layman, Jr. and Dwight Layman (Brenda); his grandchildren, Alisa, Mikel, Brooklyn, Caleigh and William; and his great grandchildren, Ember, Norah, Sylvette and Viktor. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
