He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eugene Sr. and Lucille Virginia Miller Snyder; his wife Linda Lily Pennington Snyder; and his brother Herbert N. Snyder. He is survived by: his children, Roberta Barker of Hinton and John Snyder (Pam) of Bridgewater; his siblings, Carl Snyder (Karen) of Dayton and Gail Kile (Larry) of Dayton; and his grandchildren, Cade Snyder, Rhett Snyder and Addison Snyder.
