She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Payne (Cory) and Adam Whetzel; her siblings, Ward Cave, Nelson Cave (Sherry), Patricia Auville (John) and Doris Hoover; her grandchildren, Troy Payne, Jason Payne, Bentley Whetzel and Kaelynn Whetzel; and the father of her children Doug Whetzel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Bridgewater (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Of the Brethren Cemetery (6628 Briery Branch Rd, Dayton, VA 22821).
