He is survived by: his son Clifton H. "Clifford" Archer, Jr.; his sisters, Lucille Bowen, Martha Osborne, Joyce Dooley, Carolyn Carter and Betty Gibson; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Jones and Elsie Martin.
