She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hood and Catherine Hood; her brother Edwin Hood; her niece Terri Trumble; and her great-nephew Michael Totty.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Wimer (Wayne); her adoptive son Mark Kleiwer (Nikki); her stepdaughters, Wendy Deaner, Lisa Kanode (Steve) and Pearl Corbitt (Wallace); her grandchildren, David Fitzgerald (Kaytlyn) and Amber Phillips (Trevor); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Emilee and David Ernest; her sibling's children, Julie Wells and Rob Smith; and her friends, Kathy Woodard, Charlotte Williams and Naomi Lambert.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prince George Ruritan Club (5450 Ruffin Rd, Prince George, VA 23875).
