He is survived by: his wife Katherine Hanes; his children, Brian Hanes (Melissa Hanes) and Karen Borgerding (Tyler Borgerding); his grandchildren, Levi, Hunter, Trevor, Ellie, Annette and Nathaniel; and his sister Brenda Absher (Gene Absher).
