He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Adams Midkiff; his parents, Ira E. Midkiff and Livvia Sharpe Midkiff; and his brother Ira E. Midkiff Jr.. He is survived by: his son David Wayne Midkiff; his daughter-in-law Cheryl F. Midkiff; his daughter Donna M. Haislip; his son-in-law Joseph; his grandchildren, Justin S. Haislip, Colin G. Haislip, Shelby M. Ferguson (Brandon Ferguson) and Lanie W. Midkiff; his great grandchildren, Weston Haislip and Keegan N. Ferguson; and his sister-in-law Nancy Midkiff. He is also survived by met the love of his life early on and followed her brother.
