It is with sadness that the passing of Florence Banton (Dillwyn, Virginia) is shared. Florence, born on March 23, 1949, passed away on October 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Call and Mabel Ann Call; and her siblings, Louise Bailey, George W. "Dump" Call and James "Beanie" Call.

She is survived by: her fiancé Timothy "Timmy" Wallace; her daughter Norma Jean; her sister Shirley Flowers; her grandchildren, Florence Gentry (Brandon), Ashley Schooley, Jasmine Stokes (Alisha), Mark Rosales Jr. (Autumn) and Vinciente Rosales (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Braiden, Zoey, Ruby, Preston and Dallas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunkum Funeral Home (16923 Oak St, Dillwyn, VA 23936). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Buckingham Community Cemetery (13595 W James Anderson Hwy, Buckingham, VA 23921).
