With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerry Edward Ownby of Dillwyn, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Ownby and Alma Harris Ownby; and his sister Barbara Ownby Shumaker. He is survived by: his wife Donna Massie Ownby; his sons, Jay Ownby (Christina) and Robert Ownby (Susan); his grandchildren, Tiffany Snoddy (John), Ciera Warner (Jessy), Casey Moseley (DeAndre), Kaitlyn Newton (Ayers), Max Ownby and Allie Ownby; and his brother Rodney Ownby (Sandra). He is also survived by six great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cedar Baptist Church building fund.
