He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Perkins and Annie Cunningham Perkins; his wife Edmonia "Edna" Nabors Perkins; and his siblings, James "Roger" Perkins, Henry "Francell" Perkins, William Perkins, Edward "Eddie" Perkins, Lucille Brown, Mary Chambers and Alice Mae Sedgwick.
He is survived by: his sister Ethel Taylor; his children, Paulus Irving Perkins and Moira Ann Perkins; his grandchildren, JaPaulus Hall, D'Andre Washington, Moira "TaShae" Perkins, Flavio Ayaviri and Aymar Ayaviri; and his great grandchildren, Leilani Kraft, Wynter Kraft, Jr., X'yia Dover and K'yahra Dove. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
