He was predeceased by: his parents, L. William Stumbaugh and Elizabeth Frances Prieth; his grandparents, Ella Stumbaugh, Gottfried Prieth and Agnes Prieth (Miller); his uncle John O'Hara; and his aunt Rose O'Hara.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary E. Haviland, Kurt Stumbaugh (Lauren Dunning), Barbara Greenling, Johanna Ella Stumbaugh, Shawn F. Stumbaugh (Katie Cronin) and Regina McHugh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
