Rodney Ownby Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Ownby of Dillwyn, Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rodney Ownby to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Ownby and Alma Harris Ownby; and his siblings, Jerry Ownby and Barbara Ownby Shumaker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ownby; his children, Rene Marion (Kevin) and TJ Waycaster (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Casey Ingle (Tyler), Chyenne Gentry (Josh), Blake Waycaster (Haley), Jak Waycaster and CeCe Waycaster; and his great grandchildren, Leighton Ingle, Brooks Ingle, Storm Waycaster, Layla Gentry, Nevaeh Waycaster and Baby Boy Gentry.
